Alan describes his life before Christ as one of chasing fame and sinking deeper into addiction.

“I walked stray for six long years of my youth,” he said. “My pursuit was to get fame, power, and all I wanted. I began to live a triple life—going to acting school, practicing witchcraft and Satanism, and doing money frauds, plus my new addiction to alcohol.”

His downward spiral ended with an arrest and months in county jail. It was there that a Spanish Bible arrived.

“I remember just looking at the Bible without opening it, having flashbacks,” Alan recalled. “That night I fell on my knees crying and asking for forgiveness. A supernatural thing happened after the prayer—I felt a peace I cannot explain, and I knew that was my new beginning with my Jesus.”

Today, Alan is grateful for the steady encouragement he receives through Crossroads.

“The mentorship program helps me keep my focus in God’s Word,” he said. “It gives me a better understanding and is a great blessing in my life. I feel the love you have for me. Thank you for investing in me.”
