Crossroads students complete Bible study lessons, and volunteer mentors review the lessons, answer the students’ questions and encourage them through personal letters. Because the mentorship program is carried out through the mail, students remain connected to their Bible studies and their mentors no matter where they may be transferred. In addition, volunteer mentors make a meaningful impact in prison ministry without ever leaving home. Volunteers say they believe they grow in faith as much as the students grow.
That is the power of Christ-centered relationship.
