“Surely I have learned so much! It has opened a new dimension in my study of the Bible and the impact on my personal life. For the first time, I understand God’s mighty grace and His plan of salvation and sharing in Christ’s victory.”
– Gervan L, Crossroads South Africa Student

About Crossroads South Africa:

Crossroads South Africa has seen significant growth since the ministry began in 2011—a testimony to God’s faithfulness.

Since the start of 2018, the number of students has been steadily increasing, with approximately fifty new enrollments every month. Spiritual care workers attend fourteen correctional centers weekly to lead devotionals and give the students new Crossroads lessons. Many more students throughout South Africa complete their lessons through the postal system.

2019 began with more than 900 active students and more than 200 mentors who volunteer their time to guide these students in their Bible study. With multiple branches throughout South Africa, the ministry is able to create a far-reaching impact among the country’s prison population.

What students are saying:

“Thank God for the people of Crossroads. I thank God for my life, my family and my family in Christ.”

“I want to thank you, Crossroads team, because now my life is starting to change—even some of my family members are noticing a lot of changes in my life.”

Testimonies from spiritual care workers:

“Every group I attend is full of diversity. There are many students with different languages and races, even from our neighbouring countries in Africa.”

“I am comforted with the thought that we are not contributing to an earthly kingdom, but to the
heavenly Kingdom.”
